    This is a rare recognisable part of aircraft from Lancaster Bomber.This is engine Piston conrod end which is the top of one of the main drive shafts that attaches to a piston the pin is maker marked and part numbered the snapped head the pin still goes in to both are in lovely clean condition and still retain there original colour the parts are around 2 inches long in size. The parts come from RAF Lancaster bomber mark 2 work number DS834 was shot down 30th December 1943 and crashed in Holland.The items come with a A5 laminated information sheet.

    RAF Lancaster mark 2 work number DS834 of 115 squadron the plane was on bombing raid over Berlin on 30th December 1943.The plane was shot down by a night fighter and crashed on farmland at Tungelroij 5km SSE of Weert Holland. The crew who died are buried in Weert Roman Catholic Churchyard.
