      This is a large section of airframe from a Battle of Britain German Messerschmitt bf109 which was shot down in the Battle of Britain,The part is a couple sections still riveted together it is aluminium made with some original blue/green paintwork remains very clear to see it has been very well cleaned and has a lot of original colour it is in nice solid condition it has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash but it is perfect for display or any collection and is nice large part at 11 by 6 inches in size. This large part comes from German Messerschmitt bf109 work number 3784 the pilot was Hauptmann Wilhelm Ensslen shot down on the 2nd November 1940 during the battle of Britain.The item comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with pictures of the pilots involved.

    Messerschmitt bf109 work number 3784 on the 2nd November 1940 the plane was shot down in a dog fight with RAF Spitfires the plane flown by Squadron Leader J.A Kent of Number 92 squadron shot him down the plane crashed at 8.55am at Burmarsh Halt near Dymchurch in Kent.The pilot was Hauptmann Wilhelm Ensslen who was Gruppenkommandeur of stab 2/JG52 he bailed out but was killed on Landing.
