     This is a rare section of fuel tank armour plate with paintwork remains yellow and brown and the metal hinged door with aluminium hinges in the middle which is used for re fuelling the aircraft. This is a very nice plate which is complete with bolt holes around the edges that has bent by the impact of the crash the part is rusty but reatins some original colour and has been very nicely cleaned it is in nice solid condition perfect for display or any collection this very large plate which is about 10mm thick and is 20 inches long by 16 inches wide. The part comes from German Messerschmitt 110 which was shot down during the siege of Tobruk in North Africa in 1941 and comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards.
