    This is a German 8cm Mortar 3 shell carry case which is in very relic condition but with paintwork and still with its carry handle. The box is near complete it does have some rust holes and damage but not that much it is in nice condition for a relic still solid it has some of its sand colour camouflage paintwork partly clear to see on the outside and inside there is lots of red undercoat paint remains also on the outside it has some of its black stamped markings partly readable the hinge is broken and the box is in 2 parts on the inside it still has the shell holder racking in place not totally complete but pretty much all there the case has been very nicely cleaned and is perfect to display and nice to find from the battlefield in this condition and from this particular battlefield. The box was recovered from near the village of Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943 where the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East in Russia. The box comes with a A5 laminated information card.
