    This is a German Army horse wagon grease tin with leather carry strap which is its original brown colour very solid not braking up at all. The tin its self still has lots of war time grease still inside it. The tin is in semi- relic condition only with some light surface rust in places still lots of original colour it is in very solid condition with no rust holes it does still have its carry handle the lid does not close properly but the hinge works perfectly well it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. The tin was was found on a local brocante or boot fair in Bras a village just outside Bastogne this village is were British and American forces both re captured it from the Germans during the fighting in early 1945.This box was used in the fighting that took place in the Ardennes Forest during the battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945.A very nice unusual relic found in September 2020 in Belgium ware it has been since the battle.
