    This is a section of Pilots foot plate this aluminium plate sat under the control column on floor right ware the pilot had his feet in the cockpit.This plate still covered in original black paintwork with pipework end which is maker marked and numbered still attached to it the part has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash but it is in fantastic condition very clean the section is 8 inches long by 6 inches wide.The part is from RAF Hurricane P2820 shot down on the 10th May 1940 over Reim during the battle of France. A very nice part from the famous battle of France and a rare cockpit part from a aircraft that took part in the battle perfect for display and comes with a 5x7 laminated information sheet.

    RAF Hurricane P2820 was shot down on 10th May 1940 during the German invasion of France.The plane was in combat with German Messerschmitt 110’S over Reim when it was shot down and crashed the pilot was Pilot Officer C.D Palmer he baled out safely.
