    This is a cracking condition battlefield found US soldiers M1 helmet which is complete with its liner which is named by its wartime owner the liner is not totally complete missing some webbing inside but still very rare to find with liner .The helmet which is in very nice condition semi- relic at worst with some of its original green paintwork on the inside and the outside it has no holes or damage or rust at all the shell is complete with some dents and knocks from use and complete with chin strap holders it has been very well cleaned and retains so much original colour it is perfect for display or any collection and overall in fantastic condition for a battlefield find and very rare to get American helmet from the battlefield in such good condition .The helmet came from a private collection in Dieppe originally used by an American soldier in the Normandy campaign in the summer of 1944.
