This is a section of German soldiers rubber trench boat remains the bottom of the sole around the heal and a section of what looks like great coat these items not complete but rare to find. The parts both still retain there black colour the fabric on the coat section is solid and the rubber on the boot has dried out and is slightly miss shaped both are in relic but very solid condition not braking up or falling apart and have been left in as found condition apart from a very light clean to show the black colour of the fabric and rubber the items have only survived this well as it has been in a chalk lined bunker for 100 years perfect for display or any collection so rare to get from the battlefield as leather items are fragile and normally that just rot away. These leather remains were recovered from inside a German bunker near the village of Bucquay which was a German artillery position during the later part of The Somme battle in 1916 a very nice and rare relic from the famous Somme battlefield.
