    This is a nice Daimler Benz engine relic from Messerschmitt 109 flown by an ace. This is a large section engine electrical wiring loom it still has electrical wires attached no maker marks that can be seen but with further cleaning may show some the wiring the section has ripped ,smashed and bent by the impact of the crash a nice large size at around 20 inches long it still retains some of its original colours it has been very well cleaned up and is in nice solid condition perfect for display or any collection .The part comes from Messerschmitt bf109 flown by Herbert Blochberger which was shot down over Normandy on the 26th June 1944.On the A5 information card that comes with the item is a picture of Blochberger and the plane he was flying when he was shot down. A very nice relic from a German ace lost over the famous Normandy battlefield of 1944.

    Unter offizer Blochberger, a veteran of over 170 missions and holder of the Deutsche Kreuz in Gold was flying as wing man for Oberlieutenant Werner Kohla.
