This is a rare find from the battlefield a German Prussian soldiers army belt buckle which is missing front plate it is pebble dashed so more then likely officer properly private purchase also there is a Prussian button, 2 brass belt loops and a back pack clip with its leather strap remains still attached the brass has discoloured partly green in some places buy they do still have some original colour they are still solid and have been very well cleaned they are good condition for relics not braking up or falling apart they are perfect for display or any collection. The group were recovered from inside a German bunker near the village of Bucquay which was a German artillery position during the later part of The Somme battle in 1916 a very nice and rare relic from the famous Somme battlefield.
