This is a rare find from the battlefield a British Lewis gun brass detachable anti-aircraft site it is still its lovely brass colour partly discoloured because of being buried also the large round site has partly rusted .The site is in semi- relic condition at worst still very solid condition and has been very well cleaned perfect for display or a rare bit for any collection it was recovered in woods near the village of Flers on the Somme battlefield 1916-1918. Flers was the first village captured using tanks in September 1916 during the battle of the Somme.
