British 4.5 inch howitzer brass shell case dated 11th April 1916 but missing its primer recovered from the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918

This is a British 4.5 inch howitzer shell case in nice condition. This case which is in very nice condition still retain's its shiny brass colour but it has a bit of discolour in places the case still has all of its original markings on the bottom clear to see including the date 11th April 1916 but the primer is missing over all a very nice condition and a good example .The case was found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.
