    This is a group of shrapnel relics which are 18 pounder shrapnel head brass ring remains also shell case with driving band section and a mortar case top section .They are in nice solid condition for recovered relics the brass has gone green from being buried but they have been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection .These shrapnel relics were recovered in the area that was Guillemont Station on the July-August 1916 battlefield on the famous Somme battlefield of 1916.Below picture is the shattered remains of Guillemont Station in 1916 after the battle.
