    This is a nice complete British army SRD jug which is not maker marked but still has its cork in place . The jug is in very nice condition with its maker stamp and black stamped marking it does not have any major damage or cracks but does have a few chips and marks on it but nothing to bad still with all its original colours and is perfect for display or any collection. The jug was found on brocante in the Village of Flers on the Somme battlefield of September 1916 this was first village captured using tanks on the Somme battlefield. A very nice and very relic from the famous Somme  battlefield.
