    This is a Afrikakorps 5 litre trinkwasser waterbottle which is the top section of the bottle the bottle has been cut half way down because the bottom section was rotten.The bottle still has its sand camouflage paintwork still with its white painted markings still fairly clear to see it is in relic condition but very solid condition the aluminium made bottle still retains its original colour and has very little rust it has been very well cleaned and this top part has been very well preserved by the Forest it was buried in perfect for display or any collection.The bottle was recovered near Stavelot in the Ardennes Forest so this is how we know it is 1st SS Panzer Division they were the only troops in the area during the battle.A very nice and rare relic from the Ardennes Forest used during battle of Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945 and Hitlers last offensive in the West.The spanner comes with a A5 laminated information card with picture.
