This is a nice size aluminium airframe section with lots of original black paintwork clear see from the structure of the rocket which is rare to find a v2 part with paintwork.The section has ripped off by the impact of the crash it still retains some of its original colour and is in relic but solid condition it has been nicely cleaned perfect for display and is 8 inches long and 2 inch wide in size.The part was recovered from the crash site German V2 rocket fired at
England on the 17th Feburary 1945.The rocket fell short of London and
crashed and impacted near the Village of Lynsted near Faversham in Kent at 08.10am
that night which is now incident number 794.A very rare to find especially in this condition from a German V2 rocket fired at Great Britain during hart of Hitlers rocket offensive late in the war which comes with A5 laminated information card with photos.
