This is a group of 6 engine parts and 3 aluminium airframe sections still with some original paintwork also with original colours that are very clear to see but still with some dirt attached from the recovery. The parts are rusted but solid all the parts have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash and have been nicely cleaned might clean up more with effort they are in nice solid condition and are perfect for display or any collection the parts are 2-6 inches long. The group of parts come from German Heinkel He 111H-3 work number 5680 the plane dumped its bombs and force landed in Burmarsh at 4.00pm on 11th September 1940 during Battle of Britain. These parts were in the Blake Hall Airscene museum in Essex collection until it shut down in 2007 and a lot of the items were sold off at auction. The parts come with 2x A5 laminated information cards.
The plane was damaged by AA fire and then attacked by fighters including pilot officer T.S Wade and pilot D.G Williams of NO 92 squadron during sortie to bomb London Docks. The plane was set alight by the crew and burned out Feldwebel.H.Dreyer and Uunteroffizier H.Stirnemann,Feldwebel H.Friedrich and Unteroffizier K.Hofmann all bailed out and captured unhurt.
