Rare German Krigsmarine depth charge launcher steel case found on a brocante near Lorient possibly part of uboat base defence

This is a very rare find a German Krigsmarine depth charge launcher steel case The case is in lovely condition for a steel case not much a few rust holes it still has some original black paintwork and has some faint markings on the base it has been very nicely cleaned perfect to display or any collection.The case was found on a market or brocante near the French town of Lorient so was possibly used as part of uboat base defence network.A very nice rare Krigsmarine relic from the Atlantic wall area in France.
