    This is a South African made brodie helmet with the 3 air holes in the back of it on the inside it is dated 1939 and complete with its leather liner and chin strap it is named A.CARTER  on the inside of the rim.The helmet still with all of its original yellow paintwork on the inside and outside the helmet still has both its chinstrap holder retaining clips the helmet has no rust holes and no damage at all the leather on the liner is also very solid still its original black colour has been used but not to much same the chin strap nice used example the shell its self is in very solid condition does not have any amount of rust at all just few very small flecks here and there it is still a smooth finnish and a very nice example of this famous helmet and so very rare to find in this good a condition .The helmet was bought on a street market in Cairo in Egypt in 2002 and was used in the Desert war 1939-1943.The helmet comes with a A5 laminated information card and now comes from a large collection of helmets.
