    This is a very rare to find German M24 stick grenade detonator fuse box which is complete with its original maker labels with clear to read markings and dated 1943 is in fantastic condition relic. The box which is complete with its internal wooden case which is perfect not damaged at all the cardboard still retains its original colour the cardboard and paper cover has a bit of damage but nothing to bad but is still very solid not braking up or falling apart it has been kept dry in a air tight crate so not water damaged from many years on the lake bed this is very rare to find in such nice condition from the battlefield. The fuse box was used by the German 20th Mountain Army Gebirgsjager recovered from a lake on the battlefield in Finnmark in Northern Norway liberated by the Russians in October 1944 which comes with a laminated A5 information card.

    The Liberation of Finnmark was a military operation, lasting from 23 October 1944 until 26 April 1945, in which Soviet and Norwegian forces wrested away control of Finnmark, the northernmost county of Norway, from the German Army. It started with a Soviet offensive that liberated Kirkenes in October 1944. The Germans fought in the rest of Norway until they capitulated on 8 May, bringing a definite end to the conflict.
