This is a Russian SU76 self-propelled artillery gun of the 1st Guards Army complete bottom section of gun shield.The shield is in relic but solid condition it has have black paintwork remains on one side and still has a couple of attachment bolts and brackets in place it is rusty but solid and has been very well cleaned up it is perfect for display or any collection and a nice bit of rare to find Russian tank.The gun plate was recovered from the site of a destroyed SU76 gun in Carzig south of the Seelow heights the area was defended by German Panzer Grenadier Division Kurmark which destroyed this SU76 during the fighting. The battle was fought from 16-19 April part of the Berlin the Defence against the Red Army in the last days of the War on the Eastern Front. A very nice relic from this famous battlefield in the last weeks of the war which comes with 2x laminated A5 information cards with pictures.
