Lovely leaves, flower and pebble dash design German 77mm trench art shell case dated March 1917 found on the Verdun battlefield of 1916-1918

This is a German 77mm standard size shell case which is a lovely bit of trench art leave, flower and pebble dash design the case is in very nice condition nicely marked with no major damage it still retains its shiny brass colour. The case has all of its original markings on the bottom of it including the date March 1917 very clear to see. The case comes from a private collection which all items were found on the Verdun battlefield in France of 1916-1918.
