This is a group of 3 German soldiers quarter dog tags which are all in the Wehrmacht .These are aluminium made early war production tags that are all quarter's of dog tags that have snapped down 2 sides they are in very nice solid condition for relics with there markings pretty much completely readable and still retains a lot of there original colour but are a bit dirty and damaged from being buried it have been nicely cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection and a very nice group of tags from the French battlefield. The dog tags were recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield. The tag comes from a very large private collection of dog tags recovered some many years ago from all over Europe from most of the fronts fought on by the German Army in World War 2.
