This is a unusual find from the battlefield a German radio set carry case box.The box is in relic condition there is surface rust and some heavier rust in places it has bent up a bit but nothing to bad. The case still has some original green paintwork remains and it still retains a lot of original colour it has been very well cleaned it is very solid not braking up or falling apart a large radio with the box 15 inches by 14 inches a very nice example of this bit of radio equipment. The box was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield. The box part comes with A5 laminated information card.
