This is a track link from German Panzer 2 tank which is complete it is rusty but in very nice solid condition and no real damage and has maker markings stamped on the sides not that clear to see it also still has some mud and dirt attached from the recovery a nice example of this track link battlefield found.The panzer 2 track link was recovered from the village of Uxem in the Dunkirk Pocket and is from the German invasion of France in May 1940. This item comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with photos.
The panzer 2 although the
vehicle had originally been designed as a stopgap while larger, more advanced
tanks were developed, it nonetheless went on to play an important role in the
early years of World War II, during the Polish and French
campaigns. The Panzer 2 was the most numerous tank in the German Panzer
