This is a early war type open guide horn type 3A 1941 pattern which is complete the cleats are worn so it has been well used .The link is rusty but solid it is pretty much undamaged and a nice example there is maker marking on the bottom fairly clear to read it still has track pin in it which has bent in so will not move the link has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection .The link has been recovered from near the village Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943.The link was recovered from the site which has the remains of a Panzer 3 Tank destroyed during the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East at Kursk the 1943 battle in Russia .This link comes with a laminated A5 information sheet with information and photos.
