This is a rare complete track link pin which is in relic condition but is still very solid condition.The link pin has been burnt in fire properly when the tank was hit it is still a bit dirty from the recovery and fire but it has been very nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The track link pin came from Japanese light tank type 95 Ha Go and was recovered from the Island of Guadalcanal the 1942-1943 battle a very rare relic from the pacific war which comes with a A5 laminated information card with photos.
The Ha Go was a light tank used by the Imperial Japanese Army in combat operations of the Second Sino-Japanese War, at Nomonhan against the Soviet Union, and in the Second World War. It proved sufficient against infantry, but, like the American M3 Stuart, it was not designed to fight other tanks. Approximately 2,300 units were produced, making it the most numerous Japanese armoured fighting vehicle of the time it was produced from 1936 until 1943 it had a 37mm main gun.
