    This is a German 75 mm PAK 40 shell case for the famous PAK 40 anti tank gun used on all fronts by the German army. The case is steel made which is a blown off bottom section of case it is in relic but solid condition the case does not have any rust holes but is damaged with impact dents it has been very nicely cleaned on the bottom it is complete with its primer but has no marking readable the case it is rusty but is a nice condition relic which is perfect for display or any collection. The case was recovered from around the area of Hill 262 or Mont Ormel as it is known the area was defended by the remnants of 20 German infantry and panzer divisions during battle in the Falaise Pocket in Normandy on the August 1944 Battlefield. The case comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with photos.
