German Wanderer vehicle tool box with maker marking on the lid.The box still retains small amount of its original gray paint work about 20% paint does have a lot of surface rust as well the marking is not perfectly clear to see on lid either but can be seen both hinges in nice condition and work also the locks still partly work very stiff the lid still opens and closes perfectly the inside of the box is in nice condition the maker mark is much clearer and with more paintwork then the outside. This tin came from a local brocante or boot fair in Bras a village just outside Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest used by the German forces in the battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945.A very nice rare relic freshly found in September 2018 in Belgium ware it has been since the battle.
