This is a German steel shell case with brass primer dated 1937 and has other making markings fired by 10.5cm Schwere Kanone 18 field gun. The case is steel made it is in relic but solid condition and has none of its maker markings that can be seen on the bottom of the case its self only on the primer it has a couple of small rust holes and no real damage the rare bit it still has remains of its original brass wash the case has been very well cleaned it is perfect to display or and a rare one for any collection as this gun was not made in the numbers of other German heavy guns. This case was recovered from the Dom river the area that the 4th Panzer Army defended in November 1942 until January 1943 during the battle of Stalingrad. The shell case comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with pictures.
