    This is a Very rare packed in the last days of the war Polish wooden ammunition crate captured and re used by the German Army for 4-7.5cm high explosive rounds for the captured French gun known as pak 97/38.The box is in fantastic condition with all its original black stamped Polish markings on the lid and the front very clear to see both its hinges in nice condition and work also has both its metal carry handles the locks still work perfectly the lid still opens and closes perfectly on the outside of the box it has all of its original brown stain colour no real damage other then from wear and tear from use and does have some small amount of woodworm but has been treated also has remains of paper label on the inside lovely German paper label on the inside of the lid which is dated 7th April 1945 with all readable markings a very nice example and very rare to find Polish box captured and re used by the Germans in the last days of the Reich. The box was found on a flea market in Berlin so probably used in the April 1945 battle a cracking relic from the very last days of the Reich one of the last boxes out of the factory.
