This is a large airframe structure bar part of the main airframe of the plane from a very rare aircraft to get parts from as they were not made in very large numbers.The aluminium made section does still have some of its original green paintwork it has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash it has been very nicely cleaned and still retains a lot of its original colour the size of the section is 31 inches long by 12 inches wide.The part comes from Focke wulf 189 work number 788  V7+1A "Uhu" Finnmarksvidda of 1./NaGr 32 crashed in Finland on the 15th October 1944 .The item comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with picture and details.

The plane made a forced landing on the thin ice of a lake. The wheels broke through the ice and the aircraft was blown up by the Germans. The pilot might be Lt.Friedrich Drexel*. Parts from this aircraft were salvaged in 1993 and ended up in England.
