This is a rare find from the battlefield it is a large section with red undercoat paint and yellow desert camouflage paintwork of 14mm Armoured plate from the under belly of an early Panzer 3 Tank.The plate has been ripped off in an explosion it is but has been cleaned and still retains a lot of original colour including nice clean weld the plate is rusty but still very solid and is perfect for display or any collection and is a very hard to find large section of armour 16 inches long by 15 inches wide .The armoured plate has been recovered from near the village Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943.The armoured plate was recovered from the site which has the remains of a Panzer 3 Tank destroyed during the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East at Kursk the 1943 battle in Russia .This armour comes with 2 laminated A5 information sheets with information and photos.
