This is a World War One French Calvary water bottle. The bottle still has some original paint work and has remains of maker mark or name on the front. There is a hole round the neck of the bottle which was rusted away. The bottle is in relic but solid condition. This bottle is rare because it was only issued to French Calvary troops. The water bottle was recovered from The Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.
