This is a nice recognizable part of German fighter bomber from the Battle of Britain this is a airframe inspection panel which is pretty much complete even with its clip. The panel still has lots of original green paintwork on the inside of it the panel very clear to see it has been very well cleaned and has a lot of original colour it is in nice solid condition but does have a lot of surface rust and some pin prick holes it has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash but is perfect for display or any collection it is 5 inches long in size .The part is from Messerschmitt 110 of 7/ZG26 work number 3094 shot down at 4.30pm on the 26th of September 1940 and crashed at Freshwater on the Isle of Wight. A very nice group of parts from the famous battle of Britain and German Messerschmitt 110 bomber perfect for display and comes with a A5 laminated information sheet.

The plane crashed at Tapnall Farm near Freshwater on the Isle of Wight. The crew, Leutnant Konopka and Unteroffizier Eiberg were both killed in the crash.
