Fantastic condition British 4.5 inch howitzer brass shell case dated 1918 but with no primer very nice condition original colour found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918

This is a British 4.5 inch howitzer shell case in fantastic condition it still retains its shiny brass colour even on the inside very little discolour. The case still has all of its original markings on the bottom very clear to see including the date 1918 with no primer in place over all a near perfect example .The case come from a private collection and was found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918. in France. A very relic from the famous western front battlefield.
