This is a fantastic condition German 77mm brass shell case for the 7.7 cm Feldkanone 96 it is in lovely condition with no major damage its shiny brass colour with no real discolour. The case is complete on the bottom with all of its original markings clear to see and it is rare pre war stock dated December 1912 the case is from a private collection on the Somme. A very nice German artillery relic from the famous Somme battlefield of northern France in 1916-1918.
