This is a nice condition German 77mm brass shell case for the 7.7 cm Feldkanone 96 it is in lovely condition with no major damage its shiny brass colour but with a bit of discolour. The case is complete on the bottom with all of its original markings clear to see and it is dated September 1915 the case is from a private collection on the Somme. A very nice German artillery relic from the famous Somme battlefield of northern France in 1916-1918.
