Near perfect British 18 pounder shell case with all its markings dated 1918 very nice condition found on the famous Somme battlefield of 1916-1918 this would have been fired during the later battles on the Somme battlefield

This is a British 18 pounder shell case which is nice late war production The case is in near perfect condition nicely clean still retains its shiny brass colour with no damage but with very little discolour but even the inside is nicely clean and has all its original markings on the bottom of it including the date 1918 and on the primer there are all of its maker markings. The case was found on the Somme a very nice condition this would have been fired during the later battles on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918 on the western front.
