British 13 pounder shell case much harder to find then the standard 18 pounder cases. The case is in nice condition nicely clean still retains its shiny brass colour with no damage with a lot of discolour and has all its original markings on the bottom of it including the date 1918 it has no primer. The case was found on the Somme a very nice condition this would have been fired during the later battles on the Somme properly in 1918 during the German spring offensive.
