Match pair Trench art 1914-1919 design of German 77mm brass shell cases for the 7.7 cm Feldkanone 96 both dated 1917,lovely condition no real damage even on the inside found on the Somme battlefield 1916-1918

This is a fantastic condition pair of Trench art cases that have a scratched flower and date design one is dated 1914 the other dated 1919 scratched in to it them they are German 77mm brass shell cases for the 7.7 cm Feldkanone 96. The cases are in lovely condition with no major damage its shiny brass colour with only a little bit of discolour even near perfect inside the cases scratched design is fairly clear to see. The cases are complete on the bottom with some of there original markings and not all clear to see they are both dated 1917 the cases come from a private collection on the Somme. A very nice German artillery relic which has been turned in to trench art from the famous Somme battlefield of northern France in 1916-1918.
