This is a pair of unusual items to get from the battlefield a soldiers cigarette tin and Bigot Chocolat tin with many maker markings and colour clear to see. The pair are in fantastic condition for there age they are dry and not braking up and are in very solid condition they have only survived this well as it has been in a chalk lined bunker for 100 years only .The items were recovered from inside a German bunker near the village of Bucquay which was a German artillery position during the later part of The Somme battle in 1916 a very nice and rare relic from the famous Somme battlefield.
