    This is a pair of relic condition shell cases one is a German 3.7cm steel shell case for the 3,7cm anti-aircraft gun and the other is 5cm anti-tank gun. The cases are steel made they are in relic but solid condition and have no markings on the bottom that can be seen. The shell cases have no real remains of there original brass wash or steel colours they are very rusty but solid with some rust holes and rust damage but they are not braking up or falling apart they have been very well cleaned and are perfect to display or and a nice one for any collection. The shell cases are empty and inert and were recovered near lake Balston in Hungary this area was defended by SS soldiers so it was properly worn by solider of the 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar (1st Croatian) as this was the area defended by them during battle in late 1944-1945.They come with A5 laminated information card.

    The ss Handschar division defended this area of the Margarethe Line ware the helmet was found this area which was a series of fixed defensive works south of Lake Balaton is ware the ss Handschar division held up the Soviet advance for as long as they could. After several Red Army assaults were repulsed, static trench warfare developed between December 1944 and January 1945.
