German double maxim ammunition box which is totally complete not damaged but over painted post war found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918

This is a German double maxim machine gun ammunition tin which are much rarer to find then the single ones and hard to get hold off .The tin is still very solid and has no damage other then a couple of small dents.The box has been over painted post war and is semi-relic condition at worst the box has lovely clean paintwork the lid still opens, closes and lock also complete with its original carry handles which still work The inside of the box in nice condition with its original divider the whole box is in solid condition not falling apart it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.
