This is a rare to find French 6.75 inch Parachute flare case which is a complete fired case.The brass flare case which has some damage around the top neck from being fired and is still its shiny brass colour has been very well cleaned on the bottom there are no markings. The case is its lovely brass colour and undamaged not easy to find in this nice condition or to find at all. This flare case was recovered on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918. A very nice and hard to find French relic from the famous Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.
