This is a British fuel can complete with maker markings on the top of it and most of its original red paintwork.The can is in semi relic but solid condition but does not have any holes in it that can be seen the screw top goes on and off perfectly the can has been nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and a unusual find from the battlefield. The can was found on the 1916-1918 Somme battlefield used by the British during the battle 100 years ago.
