    A super rare ammunition box with German label for the Russian 45mm anti tank gun captured during the advance in the east, reused in some number on the Atlantic wall defences in Normandy as the 4.5cm Pak 184 (r). The box is in good condition with a large amount of original green paint remaining. The locking catch functions but the metal loops that the locking bar extend into need some reshaping to allow the box to lock. Hinges and handle all in good working condition. The internal racking for the shells has been removed at some point in time as the box was reused post war.

    Acquired from a local dealer at the Lisieux Normandy militaria fair
