    This is a rare glass framed aluminium air frame structure section that still retains lots of its original green paintwork remains clear to see the part has ripped off by the impact of the crash it is in relic but solid condition and has been nicely cleaned it is perfect for display and has been mounted in to a glass fronted box frame with information and lots of pictures the frame is 8 inches by 8 inches in sizeThe part has been recovered from the crash site of a American US P38 Lightning which was shot down and crashed during the air war over the Island of Guadlcanal from the 1942-1943 battlefield. A very rare part to get hold of from the war in the Pacific.
