    This is a glass framed fantastic ultra rare glass framed German  Luftwaffe non-commissioned officers shoulder board. The board is in relic condition but is solid not braking up of falling apart with some damage it does have some of its original colours it is dirty but has been lightly cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The board has been mounted in to a glass fronted frame with pictures the frame is 12 inches by 12 inches in size.The shoulder board was  worn by a crewman in German Heinkel 111 bomber work number 1715 code G1+MS of 8 Staffel Kampfgeschwader 55 shot down 8th October 1940 and crashed in Hampshire during the later part of the battle of Britain.

    German Heinkel 111 work number 1715 code G1+MS of 8 Staffel Kampfgeschwader 55 which was shot down at 7.30pm on the 8th October 1940 and crashed in Hampshire.The plane crashed in Stanstead Park, Rowlands Castle, Hampshire while on a mission to bomb Thorney Island aerodrome. The aircraft was shot down by ground fire and exploded on impact with the ground killing all onboard. The crew Pilot: Feldwebel Ernst Ens 58246/237 Killed.
