    This is a German Wehrmacht vehicle medical box or Verbandkasten with the red cross maker markings very clear to see on the lid and red and red painted mark on the front. The box has all of its original green colour paintwork remains on it all over the box properly about 80%-90% paintwork still on it. The box which has some dents and knocks from use it has light surface rust all over but not any heavy thick rust the box still opens and closes and locks perfectly on the inside it has its original paper label with markings eagle ink stamp and dated 1943 it is in overall very good condition and a very nice example of this medical box which is battlefield found and is not relic much better then that which has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection .The medical box came from a private collection in Dieppe originally used by the German Army in the Normandy campaign in the summer of 1944.
